Free & Confidential Advisors to Small Businesses & Entrepreneurs
The Town of East Fishkill and its Business Economic Committee are pleased to announce their partnership with SCORE Dutchess as a resource for the Town’s Entrepreneurs and Businesses who need free and confidential expert business advice.
SCORE, America’s premier source of free, confidential business advice for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs, with over 10,000 volunteers nationally, is a Non-Profit Resource Partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Since 1965, the Dutchess Chapter of SCORE has offered free and confidential mentoring and low/no-cost workshops, on every aspect of business planning, start-up, management and growth, as a resource partner for the Dutchess Regional Chamber of Commerce and for Th!nk Dutchess. SCORE Dutchess is a totally volunteer organization with twenty members who commit their time, experience and expertise to help our small business community and contribute to increased economic development in our area. Their volunteers are working and retired business owners and executives. Having handled the challenges and decisions that many entrepreneurs face today, they offer real-world business advice.
SCORE Dutchess has been rated a Platinum chapter, and Th!nk Dutchess is recognizing them with their 2019 Business Excellence Award in the Non-Profit category.
SCORE mentoring services are free, regardless of how often you consult our mentors who sign a Code of Ethics that includes protection of your business information and ideas.
Your business is not built in a day. Meeting with your SCORE mentor regularly can maximize your chances of success. Long-term SCORE relationships have proven beneficial for clients, with SCORE mentors serving effectively as their unpaid "business advisory board".
