Hopewell Water System Project

Rt 82 from Turner Street to Old Farm Road

Beginning on or about December 10, 2018, Rt. 82 south bound will experience "single lane closures" from Turner Street to Old Farm Road for approximately 15 days. There will be intermittent double lane closures (north bound and south bound) while trucks are delivering materials to the operation. Contractors will be performing watermain installation along the shoulder of the south bound lane. Note that Martin Rd. will be closed where it intersects with Rt 82 (between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm), while watermain is being installed between Turner Street and Beekman Road. All vehicle traffic from Martin Rd., Village Ct. and Oak Ridge Rd can reach Rt 82 north bound or south bound by exiting Martin Rd. onto Beekman Rd.. Use caution when traveling Rt. 82 both north bound and south bound, obey speed limits and construction signage in the work zones. Businesses along Rt 82 will be open and have access, residents will have access to their driveways. Stay alert, be patient and be aware of traffic control devices, flaggers and changing traffic patterns during the temporary closures.

Dogwood Road (Storage Tank Site)

On September 17, 2018, construction activities began at #40 Dogwood Road with mobilization of materials and equipment. All work is being performed off of Dogwood Road on the site. Dogwood Road will be opened to traffic, spotters will be used for vehicles entering and leaving the site. Stay alert, obey speed limits, spotters and construction signage in the work zones during the work activities. Resident's will have access to their driveways. The Town of East Fishkill's "Emergency Service Road" adjacent to the site will be restricted use during daytime working hours for all Pedestrians / Walkers / Joggers / Bikers. Due to heavy construction and crane activities at 40 Dogwood Road, Conti respectfully requests that residents utilize alternate paths for recreational activities to help alleviate safety concerns adjacent to the heavy construction work area. The work site within the fenced in area is a "No Trespassing" work zone for public safety, please proactively communicate this to your neighbors. Parents please educate your children on the dangers inherent with an active construction site, that it is not a playground and not to enter the construction site. The East Fishkill Police will perform their routine patrols to ensure the security of the site.

JoAnn Rd. (Watermain Pressure Testing)

Between 12/3/18 and 12/21/18 JoAnn Rd. may experience intermittent single lane closures while equipment is staged to pump water into the watermains for pressure testing of the lines. Use caution when entering JoAnn Rd. from Rt 82 and while traveling along JoAnn Rd., obey speed limits and construction signage in the work zones. Residents will have access to their driveways. Stay alert, be patient and be aware of traffic control devices, flaggers and changing traffic patterns during the temporary single lane closures.

Oakridge Rd. (Watermain Pressure Testing)

Between 12/3/18 and 12/21/18 Oakridge Rd. May experience intermittent single lane closures while equipment is staged to pump water into the watermains for pressure testing of the lines. Use caution when entering Oakridge Rd. From Rt 82 and while traveling along Oakridge Rd., obey speed limits and construction signage in the work zones. Residents will have access to their driveways. Stay alert, be patient and be aware of traffic control devices, flaggers and changing traffic patterns during the temporary single lane closures

Dogwood Rd. (Watermain Pressure Testing)
