•Zoning Board Alternate/Member - LETTER OF INTEREST (required)
The Zoning Board of Appeals is appointed by the Town Board and is responsible for the interpretation of the Zoning Code and the granting of special permits and variances.
•Planning Board Alternate/Member – LETTER OF INTEREST (required)
The Planning Board is appointed by the Town Board and is responsible for reviewing and approving all Subdivisions and Site Plans, issuing Special Permits and commenting on proposed Local Laws referred to them by the Town Board.
•Architectural Review Board Member – LETTER OF INTEREST (required)
Functions Architectural Review Board (ARB) approval is required for exterior architectural features of proposed construction, additions, alterations, or remodeling of buildings and structures in a B-1, B-2, I-1, I-2, I-3, PBN, PCP, PRDP, PRD and CRD zone, as well as any building in a cluster subdivision which contains two or more dwelling units, including attached and semi-detached units, and any buildings and/or structures approved as part of a special permit in any zone, except a special permit to expand a non-conforming residence under section 67-71. Architectural background is a plus.
•Temporary Typist – APPLICATION (required)
This position provides secretarial and clerical support to a unit or department. While the specific duties vary with the needs of the office, the incumbent provides skilled keyboarding services in addition to a range of routine clerical served such as filing, photocopying, faxing, maintaining office supplies, sorting and distributing mail and other similar activities. While initially, assignments are limited in scope, employees eventually will be assigned duties of increasing difficulty. Work is performed under direct supervision and detailed instructions are given for new or difficult tasks. Supervision of others is not normally a function of this position.
•P/T Deputy Court Clerk – APPLICATION (required)
This is a clerical position involving responsibility for handling various details of the court office. Responsibilities may range from routine typing and filing to more difficult office management and bookkeeping work. Employee may be required to attend court sessions at various hours of the day and night.
•Clerk to the Justice – APPLICATION (required)
TThis is clerical work involcing responsibility for handling various details of the office and court of an elected Town Justice. Depending upon the nature of projects assigned by the Justice, responsibilities may range from routine typing an filing to more difficult stenographic and bookkeeping work. Employees in this class may be required to attend court sessions at various hours of the day and night.
